River Song’s Alpha Meson Blaster
Took about an hour of work, if you don’t count the times between layers that i had to wait for the paint to dry. I got the nerf gun at target for $10, and used cream colored crafter’s paint from Micheal’s to do the solid body color, and some grey and black crafter’s paint for the details, plus some dark gold metallic fabric paint to help give it an aged look. I gorilla glued on gloss finished card stock at the end of the blaster, which i covered in many layers of paint and clear acrylic gloss to keep the paper from ripping or crumbling, then glued on 2 buttons on each end to of the card stock to resemble the bolts on Rivers blaster.
