And awesome TVD Thursdays are back! Tonight’s episode had me on my knees at the end of it because it was too great for me to just sit in my chair and watch the amazingness unfold. Let’s review shall we?

Damon and Elena “fighting” in the background was the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. When he play bit her, me and my cousin [a.k.a my TVD partner in crime] literally rewound to watch that play over again. Play biting is now officially the cutest thing I’ve ever seen on my TV screen, even if Elena pretended not to enjoy it.

Sadly, when not in Damon’s presence, Elena is back to being annoying. Ughh, what happened, she was so cool for a couple of episodes there?!? 

Rebekah is awesome. In fact, I will now refer to her as Bex, because she’s officially one of my girls. Well Bex was pouring her heart out to Elena, talking about her dead brother, and Elena is being rude and bitchy! Excuse me lady, she doesn’t have to tell you anything, why are you being so rude? Also, Bex just found out that her brother killed her mom and you just left her crying on the floor.

Oh well, maybe Elena not being compassionate and caring for every walking [not necessarily living] thing means she’ll be awesome again, hurray! [Sorry Bex!]

I was pretty stoked on Stefan on this episode, he was pretty awesome, he even saved his brother. I love that we just got proof that he loves Damon more than Elena, which is how it should be. I mean, that’s his family! I love it because it’s so anti-Season 1, when Stefan wanted to kill Damon to save Elena. Also, him and Damon exchanging that one line was pretty cool and witty, which I’m into.

That last scene… As a hardcore Delena shipper, there are no words to describe how emotionally unstable this made me. I did mention getting on my knees right? How appropriate is it, that on the anniversary of Damon watching Elena sleep, he is back on her bed, and NOT getting kicked out? She did not say ONE word to make him leave. Yeah, she played around with the sheets and whatever, but there was no verbal request!

I loved it, it was the perfect Delena scene. It struck the perfect balance of being a little bit romantic, but mostly just being a really comfortable friendship, which I loved because I’d rather fall in love with my best friend than with the mysterious brooding guy. It was all kinds of perfection and I have no complaints.
